Edith brings an uncommon depth and breadth of experience to venture capital. At a time when there was scant interest in women entrepreneurs, Edith had the vision to recognize the important funding gap and then the courage and grit to launch the Women’s Venture Capital Fund. Previously, she was a management consultant at McKinsey, an investment banker at Salomon Brothers, and a senior executive responsible for business development at Physicians’ Online and Children’s Television Workshop. A passionate advocate for education, Edith has served in board/advisory roles at Stand for Children, the Educational Alliance, Save the Children, and Portland Jewish Academy.
